Not only did Pat sign this sign once, but he signed it actually 2 times, right next to each other, side by side in different directions, which is a very unusual feature to see. Maybe he was distracted when signing it, or maybe it was intentional, but could this be the only double signed Pat Tillman autograph out there like it? We researched online and were unable to find anything ever listed for sale online like it, so it could very well be.
This football was signed by Tillman when he was a member of the Arizona Cardinals during the 1998 season. Other players and staff that signed this ball that we identified are his good friend and Quarterback Jake Plummer, Eric Swann, Rob Moore, "Mean" Joe Greene (who was an assistant Coach for the Cardinals from 1996-2003) and Cory Wedel. Because of Cory Wedel's signature, we were able to identify the year this ball was signed was in 1998 because he was an undrafted Kicker out of the University of Wyoming. Cory was with the Cardinals only during the 1998 Training Camp, but never made the official roster, so it tells us this ball was signed during that time frame. There are additional signatures on the ball, but we weren't able to make out who they are.
The ball is in used condition, as you can see from the pictures in this listing. The ball has no issues inflating when it is pumped up with air into the bladder of the ball. As you can see, the signatures are in very good condition overall, which tells us the ball was used before it was signed by the players and then not played again with after. If you are looking for a unique Pat Tillman signed item, then this is the one you need with the double signatures on it.
